Key Facts
- Largest primarily volunteer-run food pantry in the Upper Yakima Valley each year since founding
- During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017, 2,059 unique households with 8,569 members made a total of 24,682 visits, for an average of just under 12 visits per year or just under once every month.
- During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017, we provided 990,252 pounds of food to those households, or an average of just over 40 pounds per visit.
- During the calendar year 2016, 135 volunteers provided 8,547 hours of service, officially valued at $112,644. Our existing Board of Directors provided 1,371 volunteer hours (excluding Board duties), officially valued at $18,652.
- During the calendar year 2016, cash contributions from 33 individuals and organizations totaled $25,409, including $2,116 from our existing Board of Directors. Eight area churches and church associations contributed $5,917.
